Beginner training plan
Your first lessonLet's discuss your goals for the sport then meet for an assessment of what you already know. We can go from holding the paddle right to the kitchen to learn the rules and start learning the fundamentals with dink work and drill basics. Sound basics for a mini pickle game and scoring begins here.
Lesson 11+Understanding more strategy and recognizing patterns. Finding and highlighting strengths, and improve deficiencies. Minimize errors and increase efficiency through compact play and staying calm. Drills for kitchen speed ups and resets, transitions and footwork. Consistency is the key.
Lesson 4-10Focus on first five shots in a game and provide some tactics and strategies to learn court position and footwork. 3 rd shot returns and drops. Customize drills for student skill level.
Lesson 2-3Practice what you will need to do most. Control the ball and further technical development of dinks and volleys from the kitchen. Drills for placement and creating un-attackable balls. Serves and Returns basics.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonDiscuss current skill level and goals. Assessment match up.
Lesson 11+Play with higher levels and strengthen mindset and visual of game. Pattern recognition and placement of shots to increase wins.
Lesson 4-10Drills to improve current skills. Focus on minimizing errors and get consistent. Analysis of play in a game for shot selection, awareness and skill development. Specific shot drills for attacks and resets. High percentage shots to minimize errors. Self analysis after each game
Lesson 2-3Refine and improve techniques as needed. Get feedback on rec play and known areas of concern. Let's drill! Kitchen strategies resets and dink level of play. Determine play style and doubles knowledge.

Youth players
Working with kidsI have experience Working with youth leagues and break down my lessons using fundamentals of athletic stance and hand eye coordination drills.

Working with teenagersCreate a structure for learning to break down each area and engage participation. Work with other similar age students to develop community and insert all the benefits of a sport as individual and team.

What you need to bringPaddle if you already have one, pickleball or flat court shoes, and water! Probably should have a hat and eye protection.

What I can bringDemo paddles to find something that will work for you. I have the balls and drilling targets.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
