About your pickleball coach
I help people find success, confidence, and joy in their pickleball game. Tailored to each player's game knowledge, athletic ability, and personal style, I provide personal guidance to level up your game every time you play. My background is in tennis, volleyball, martial arts, ballroom dance, and drumming. Over the past year I have transitioned into pickleball as my main sport and I love to help others learn the game and go from beginner to breakout player.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will start by assessing your basic athletic ability, showing safe and functional ways to stretch, warm up, and practice. We will review the basics of racquet sports and go over the rules of pickleball, playing our first game and practicing keeping score.
Lesson 11+Returning to each of these fundamentals, we will add new layers of skill, detail, and complexity to improve your game to higher and higher levels. Incorporating in court movement and working with your partner to effectively control points. Developing the skills and mindset to win your first tournament. All while continuing to have fun and stay healthy while playing.
Lesson 4-10Incorporating drives, volleys, drop shots, dinks, and overheads to round out your game and be ready to gain experience and improve your skill level in basic recreational and competitive games.
Lesson 2-3Focusing on the two key shots in pickleball, the serve and the return, as we practice rotating through doubles points to play a full game.
What you need to bringCourt shoes, water/refreshments, and a pickleball paddle of your choosing.
What I can bringWill provide the net, balls, and equipment for drills. Spare paddles available by request.
