Beginner training plan
Your first lessonUnderstanding the other side of keyboarding all keyboardists should know. Importance of sound and tone, not just the notes. How music and notes are affected by tonal properties. Every wonder how to create the same sound as that one song? Do you play piano and keys and want to learn more about the hardware/software such like MIDI, Osc, Env, LFOs, modulation and more? Depending on the desired knowledge, the beginner may choose between learning synthesis/keyboards and new skilled, unique riffs and playing techniques. Or both! Up to you :) Synth: What is synthesis? Types of Synthesis, Examples, Exploration, Instruction and Q/A. Playing: Examples, Demos, Uses, Having Fun
Lesson 11+Synth: The beginner will create a sound of their own based on an example they provide. They will have the knowledge to recreate synth sounds and use synthesis freely.
Lesson 4-10Synth: Filters, LFO, ADSR, Modulation and Sync Playing: More technical skills and some unique styles of approaching different music genres with sound - organ, electric piano, Clavinet, piano and synths.
Lesson 2-3Synth: The beginner will learn basics about Oscillation, Sound Waves and Understanding of recognizing sound patterns, There will be playing and instructional demonstrations along with Q&A for the beginner to ask anything they’d like to learn. Playing: I will show the beginner different approaches to phrasing and cadences when playing solos in the alto or soprano range. Rhythm and meaningful uses of rhythm with notes. Importance of breath, pause and speaking musically.
