In 2019, Mariana won a Grammy nomination for her work on the Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse Soundtrack Album. Mariana was discovered by 3x Grammy Award Winning Producer Om'mas Keith, known for Frank Ocean's "Blonde" and "Channel Orange" albums, aswell as Kanye West's "Watch The Throne" and more. Mariana has worked with big name artists such Kendrick Lamar, Anderson Paak, Amine, Mereba, Jill Scott, Mary J Blige, and more! She studied Keyboard Performance and Music Production at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Today she continues to work with top name artists as a pianist, producer, songwriter, and Audio engineer. Mariana has been teaching Piano and Music Theory to industry professionals (Music Producers, Songwriters, Artists, etc) for 3 years, as well taught at a children's music school in Walnut, CA for one year.

Mariana is an authentic conveyor of music and out human connection to it. She gives a clear definition in her curriculum that helps you at any level to connect to what seems technical. I left my lesson feeling empowered to take on new skills as an artist. Mariana creates a great learning environment by her gentle compassionate energy and warmth. She checks for understanding and makes you feel equipped to be an expert just like her! Don’t miss out on a great teacher, no matter your level I suggest taking time to learn and get to know her! Mariana has taught me personally over the past year. I can truly say I have never retained more information when learning an instrument than learning under her. She also took all of the fear out of the idea of learning theory. It can be a daunting idea but I feel completely safe to learn at my pace and to mess up in her space. I could keep going but the point is I could not recommend Mariana enough as a teacher!
