Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI focus on building confidence and excitement while establishing strong foundations. I introduce the keyboard, hand posture, basic finger technique, combine simple rhythm and note-reading exercises, and guide students to play a short, achievable melody. Lessons are playful, encouraging, and tailored to ensure early success and motivation
Lesson 11+Beginners continue expanding repertoire, refine technique, improve sight-reading and rhythm, develop expressive playing, and gain confidence in independent practice, preparing for more advanced pieces and musical growth
Lesson 4-10Beginners gradually build hand coordination, play simple two-hand melodies, expand note-reading and rhythm skills, and learn short practice pieces. Lessons focus on developing fluency, confidence, and independent practice habits while reinforcing technique and musicality
Lesson 2-3They’ll reinforce posture, expand note knowledge, practice simple melodies, and begin basic hand coordination. They will also develop rhythm skills and start reading music, building confidence and preparing for more complex pieces
