Having played the guitar since the tender age of 9, I have amassed a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for music. My teaching style is all about flexibility and making learning fun. I believe in starting with the basics while incorporating song learning, improvisation, strumming patterns, chord progressions, and more right from the get-go.
My experience isn't limited to just playing; I've also ventured into recording studios and small tours, which has enriched my understanding of the musical realm. Whether you're interested in classic rock, blues, country, or any other style, I'm here to guide you and help you reach the level you aspire to achieve. I have a wide range of guitars and amplifiers at my disposal, and I'm more than happy to bring this musical journey to your doorstep if that suits you better. I really like working with Phil! he teaches at a great pace and does a great job of explaining how i can sound better while playing. After 2 lessons so far with Phil i can see myself already improving. He also is letting me learn a song that I am interested in which makes me feel a lot more motivated. I would recommend phil to anyone but especially those that are just starting to learn!
