Beginner training plan
Your first lessonOur first lesson will be where we gauge where you’re at currently. We will go over and video record various full swings, chipping, and putting. We will talk about your goals and go over any questions and concerns you have about your game, where it’s at and where you want it to go. If you are more interested in the mental game or course management, we will talk over your current thought processes.
For beginners, we will go over the basics of grip, stance/setup, and mechanics of full swing, chipping, and putting.
A recap video will be sent after every lesson.
Lesson 2-3Lessons 2-3 we will start to hone in on the specific movements (or thought processes if mental game) you want to learn. We will drill the mechanics and make sure progress is being maintained. A recap video will be sent after every lesson.
First time golfers can expect to start learning more about feet movement, body angles, and impact, working the swing up from quarter swings to half, making sure we are getting consistent strikes.
Lesson 4-10A beginner can expect to now be able to make consistent contact with the ball, be able to grip the club and address the ball properly and consistently, and be able to putt and chip with consistency and sound mechanics.
Lesson 11+A beginner can expect to start playing on the course, and really have focused practice sessions that are specific to their swing and individual tendencies. As always, a recap video will be sent after every lesson.
