Ryan was an excellent teacher. He works with what you have. He doesn’t try to reinvent your swing. He was very patient and accommodating. I have done both private lessons and playing lessons, and my game has improved tremendously. But as in any sport and he emphasizes this you must practice.

As a former PGA Professional, he adds a healthy knowledge of the game and swing mechanics with a geniuine care and connection with every student he works with. Those who seek his assistance and expertise are not clients with appointment slots to him. They are real people who Ryan truly gets to know beyond their individual swings. Meeting Ryan and giving myself a chance to learn the right way through his teaching is one of the smartest things I’ve done this year along my “learn how to play golf” journey. I’m a late starter at 39 having never really taken golf seriously before, I had initial apprehensions about lessons, thinking I wasn’t ready for them, not having what I thought was a strong foundation. Ryan does an amazing job of giving his students a point of reference with every lesson alleviating any “is this right for me” apprehension and making form and technique resonate. While I have a long way to go (again, only 5 months in) I’m confident enough to go out for a round when I can, to start working on grass. Beginner training plan

Your first lessonWe begin with the fundamentals of the golf set-up & stance progressing to golf grip and on to the swing. Pure beginner we start with putting and evolve into longer and longer swings, chipping, pitching, & full swing.

Lesson 2-3This varies for each player. It may be chipping & pitching or it may be the foundations of the full swing.

Lesson 4-10We have moved into full swing with check-ins to ensure proper technique for putting, chipping, & pitching the golf ball. We manage incorporated some unique situations bunkers, course management, rules of the game, etc.

Lesson 11+We will be working on your deficiencies and fine tuning your golf game to begin scoring better. This may include knowing your club yardages, understanding course management, bunker play, knowing the rules of golf, & golf etiquette. Whatever your golf needs we will address them!
