Beginner training plan
Your first lessonHow I would approach the first lesson is seeing the students strengths and weaknesses. From there we will see how we can approach how we can improve their skills.
Lesson 11+From their remaining lessons the student can expect a higher intensity in their drills so they can see drastic improvement in their skills.
Lesson 4-10The lessons from 4-10 you can usually start working on drills where you can make the student understand game scenarios and drills where they can execute the skills they’ve worked on, in game like scenarios. Usually pretty basic stuff just so they can understand when it comes to the game how to score.
Lesson 2-3Going into second and third lesson you can expect the usual of working on the their drills on their preferred skill to begin with and work on the other skills just so he can also start improving in the other areas as well. For example if they chose that they would want to work on scoring we can work on doing lay ups and their shooting mechanics but we would also add stationary drills to improve their ball handling.
What you need to bringStudents should bring their ball if possible.
