Bio: Hello my name is John and I am a local Lakewood tennis coach with over 40 years of playing experience and over 30 years of teaching experience! I am also a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional. I have been teaching tennis since I was in high school. During high school, I played #1 singles for 3 of 4 years and I was a ranked junior in the 18’s in Northeast Ohio. In college, I played for 1 year at Florida Southern College which is a Division II school. I have been involved in USTA league play for many years and have competed in local & national age group tournaments. My goal during our sessions would be to convey my passion for the sport along with helping you to improve. I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I teach local tennis lessons mostly at the Lakewood Park tennis courts but I also teach at Tri-City Park, Rocky River and I am willing to travel up to 10 miles to a tennis court that is close to you.
