This combined experience has honed my ability to convey techniques effectively, ensuring that students not only learn the basics but also appreciate the discipline and dedication behind every stroke.

"Ed's lesson was quite good overall, especially since his advice was really helpful and to the point, which I appreciated. His helpfulness stood out, though I’d like to see some focus on improving forehand control next time. Still, I’ll probably try Ed again because his straightforward guidance feels quite practical.

"Alex's lesson was quite helpful and I think my kid really enjoyed it. She even mentioned looking forward to more, which is a good sign. The focus during the lesson helped her improve her swing, and I appreciate the calm way Alex explained things, though I hope future lessons can build on her confidence a bit more. Still, it seems like a solid start and I might consider booking another lesson soon.

"I’ve been taking lessons with Poom for a while now, and the experience has been absolutely fantastic. As an older person, it can be incredibly frustrating trying to unlearn bad habits or figure out why a certain shot just isn't landing, but this guy has been a real gift for making the complex mechanics of tennis easy to understand. He doesn't just tell you what to do but he takes the time to explain why you are doing it, which has completely changed the way I approach my game. Within the first few sessions, he identified a few tiny tweaks in my footwork and racquet preparation that immediately added more power and consistency to my swings. He is incredibly patient and always knows exactly how to balance pushing me out of my comfort zone with keeping the sessions enjoyable. You definitely get an intense workout in, but you’re having so much fun hitting the ball and seeing real time improvement that you hardly even notice the fatigue. Beyond just the technical strokes, he has also been great at teaching match strategy and helping me build better mental focus during rallies. Whether you are a total beginner wanting to build a rock-solid foundation, or an experienced player looking to refine your technique and take your skills to the next level, I cannot recommend Poom highly enough. He is a truly dedicated coach who genuinely cares about his students' progress, and my confidence on the court has skyrocketed since we started working together.
