Private Tennis Lessons & Coaches in Crockett, CA

I am an internationally trained tennis coach and former elite junior who grew up in Tokyo and trained at Keio Tennis Academy, earning national-level results in Japan before continuing high-performance development at Weil Tennis Academy in California. I am also Mouratoglou-trained, having completed their coaching program. I now attend the University of California, Berkeley, and bring a global, disciplined, and resilient approach to coaching focused on strong fundamentals and mental toughness.

""My daughter plays USTA tournaments and we were looking for someone who could take her to the next level technically without rebuilding her from scratch. Dylan assessed her in one session and identified two things previous coaches had missed entirely. He's clearly trained at a high level himself and that shows. He doesn't guess, he knows. In just a few months she's already winning matches she would have lost before.”

I help beginners and improving players build clean fundamentals, better footwork, and real confidence on court. My lessons are clear, encouraging, and structured so you improve fast without feeling overwhelmed. I’m a medical student focused on sports medicine. I lost 80 pounds of fat by playing tennis and built real athleticism along the way. I coach beginners to intermediates with a biomechanics-first approach: I’m all about footwork, placement and positioning, timing, and joint-friendly power. First lesson includes a quick assessment, 1 to 2 key fixes, and a drill plan for your next solo hit.

"I struggled with my serve for the longest time. That changed finally when I got lessons from Arjan. He analyed how I currently hit so as to maximally help improve my serve and return without overcomplicating. I could finally toss the ball for a clean serve after many many drills! Highly recommended

Hi! My name is Arina and I am a first-year medical student. I played competitively through college as part of our club team that won national championship for the past few years! I first started teaching at the age of 16, and since then continued teaching classes for kids and adults of various ages and skill levels. I am still a competitive player if you are just looking for someone to hit with but I really enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge if you prefer a drill/game style classes.

Hi, I’m Coach Alex. I’ve taught tennis for 15+ years across three countries, working with players of all ages and skill levels. I’m PTR and USTA certified, and my coaching style focuses on making tennis simple, effective, and enjoyable. Every lesson is tailored to each player’s goals, whether improving technique, building confidence, or competing at a higher level. I’ve also worked with various clubs and tennis associations throughout my career.

"Coach Alex has been incredible with our 6-year-old. He makes every lesson fun while still teaching proper technique. Our son asks almost every day when his next tennis lesson is.

Tennis is one of my greatest joys - I am passionate about introducing the sport to new communities, fostering junior development and supporting adult learners discover and hone their game.

Originally from Israel, my love for tennis began at age 9, leading me to train at various top academies in my home country. By my late teens, I had achieved the 2nd spot in a national tournament and competed internationally, which deepened my passion for the sport. My journey took me to Spain for further training and then to the United States, where I played singles and doubles for a Division 1 tennis team for 4 years. Now, I find immense joy in coaching and watching my students grow both in their skills and their appreciation for the game.
