“My son loves his time with Jay. Jay has been able to teach him how to truly hear the music beyond what is just on a page. Jay has taught my son to feel the music, to hear the melodies and harmonies beyond what is written on the page. Jay is an incredible musician and has been able to teach my son to express his music well beyond what is written on a page. I would highly recommend Jay, as an Instructor/Mentor, for any of his various instruments, which include guitars, Bass, mandolin, ukelele, saxophones, piano, NAF (Native American Flute), percussion, songwriting, performing in various venues - with varying styles of music from Folk, Country, Blues, Classical, Pop, some Jazz,”Craig W., parentAbout JayMy journey with melodies began at age 5 when I started picking out piano melodies by ear. By 7, I had already embarked on my guitar-playing odyssey. Throughout my musical voyage, I've explored the realms of folk, rock, country, blues, and more, performing in various settings, from churches to clubs. As a singer-songwriter, I've woven my tales into original compositions. Beyond the stage, I hold a Music Practitioner Certification, bringing the healing power of music to hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice settings.
