As a seasoned vocal coach with 20 years of experience and a background as a concert performer, I'm dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential. I offer personalized training, fostering a fun and supportive environment. My goal is to refine your vocal abilities and artistry.
Music has always been the biggest part of my life. I started singing when I was just 10 years old, and since then, it has become not only my passion but also my profession. Over the years, I have performed at numerous prestigious music festivals across Europe and have been honored with many awards for my vocal performances. I completed both elementary and high school in music, where I received formal education in vocal technique, music theory, and performance. I further refined my skills at the Aleksandra Radović Singing School, one of the most renowned vocal academies in the region. Today, I am proud to work as a backing vocalist for Aleksandra Radović herself. As a vocal coach, I love helping others find their voice, build confidence, and grow as artists. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced singer looking to take your skills to the next level, I am here to guide and support you on your musical journey. Let’s sing together!

I have taught voice, music theory, music history, and aural skills of all genres and voice parts for several years. I can teach all levels including collegiate, and have studied at NYU myself. I have been singing for well over a decade, including for choir, musicals, solo recitals, and operas. The most important part of singing is vocal health! We can work towards your goals for voice with techniques to ensure vocal strength and agility. The techniques in the lessons I offer will be 100% reliable that you will be able to use for a strong voice your whole life! In addition to vocal pedagogy, I can also help with stage presence, IPA, and creating the story behind your song! Singing is techniques but it’s also self expression and connecting with others, so be yourself and bring whatever you’d like to work on!

"Mr. G as we called him at our school was the best teacher! Loved being in his music classes.

Full-time musician and dedicated music teacher in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL. Armed with a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance from Central Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Sacred Music from the University of Notre Dame, I've immersed myself in sound and melody. When I'm not teaching, you can find me contributing to the musical vibes at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran church or leading the charge as the band leader and vocalist for THEM queers. I'm not just about performing; I'm also a vocal nerd, deeply fascinated by the intricacies of the human voice. One of my passions is hosting queer vocal workshops at the iconic Old Town School of Folk Music, where we explore the diverse capacities of the human vocal instrument. If you're ready to dive into the magical world of music or want to unleash your vocal prowess, let's connect!

"Ms. Qiana was a really friendly and nice voice teacher. She helped me train my voice to audition to get into my performing arts high school. I was so nervous but she gave all the things I needed to get in. And I auditioned and got accepted! She's a great vocal teacher.

I'm the proud mentor behind the scenes of our family band adventure since 2012. My journey involves teaching and creating harmony in the heart of our musical home. From leading summer singing classes for kids at a Montessori school to gracing the stage on Nickelodeon's 'Americas Most Musical Family' and belting out the national anthem for the Chicago Bulls – every note is a testament to our shared love for music. Let's explore the melodic wonders together!

"Michele is truly an amazing and intuitive teacher. She is extremely knowledgeable, talented and has a great sense of what a student needs. She works with your unique voice and builds it up and explains every single exercise and reasoning behind everything. She has helped me understand so many more things about myself not only as a singer but as a person. I've noticed a lot of changes already in the last few months and I am so thrilled I found her! She truly has a great talent for teaching and singing. Thank you so much Michele. You are a true blessing!
