As a former USPTA teaching professional, I bring proven coaching performance to the wild west world of pickleball instruction. Most players think the secret to getting to the next level, or improving their DUPR is a new strategy: “Respect The X”, “The Triangle Offense”, “Dink To Your Opponent’s Inside Foot”. The Truth? Strategy Don’t Mean A Thing, If You Ain’t Got That Swing! Sure, the right court positioning is important, but…proper mechanics are the engine of your game. I’ll help you build a technically sound game and improve your reaction time with repeatable stroke and volley checkpoints that will keep you getting better even between our sessions. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or looking to add a 3rd shot DRIP or backhand flick to your arsenal, I’ll guide your improvement every step of the way. The session pace is always comfortable, encouraging, and challenging. As a senior player, I understand the unique considerations that come with starting or improving later in life, though I genuinely enjoy working with players of every age and skill level. When you book with me, you can count on plenty of balls, paddles (if needed), and a reserved space where we can focus entirely on your improvement without distractions. I teach indoors at Missouri Pickleball Club in Fenton, or Missouri Pickleball Club—Ellisville. Outdoors at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in beautiful Forest Park. I enjoy group lessons, so book with one, two, or three friends and lower the price per student cost. I will teach at other locations if a court can be reserved and the student handles making the reservation.
"Great coaching tips. He makes it easy to learn! Awesome instructor.
I have a passion for almost any racquet sport, but like many of you, I’ve truly fallen in love with pickleball. As a former college athlete and national leadership trainer, I combine my athletic experience with a focus on how the fundamentals of the game translate into finesse moves. I’m here to help you excel in both doubles and singles play, guiding you to develop your skills and become a leader on the court.
"I'm pretty pleased with how the lesson went, honestly. Nathan's focus on fundamentals really stood out, and I was surprised at how much I learned even after just one lesson. Wish I could take lessons forever, though, there's always more to improve on. Still, I feel like my pickleball game has definitely leveled up, and that lesson was a good step forward. If you're curious, I’d say Nathan's someone to consider trying out.
With a love for Pickleball, I strive to inspire every player. My approach makes learning fun and accessible, guiding students to reach their full potential on the court. I hope to work with you soon!
"No was great with my 8 year old granddaughter. Great experience for all of us.
I’m a dual-certified Pickleball Coach (PPR and IPTPA) who loves helping beginners and early-intermediate players level up fast. I specialize in teaching 2.5–3.5 players the what, how, and why of good pickleball so you build real skills and confidence—not just shots that work “sometimes.” I’ve coached hundreds of players at Vetta Sports and even taught as a Visiting Pickleball Instructor at Club Med Punta Cana. I bring drills and techniques I’ve learned directly from top pros and tailor them to make learning easier, clearer, and more fun. I’m a competitive 4.0+ player with medals from regional tournaments and experience on the inaugural St. Louis Shock Minor League Pickleball team. I also use tech and new AI tools to help pinpoint the quickest ways for you to improve. Let’s get you playing smarter, stronger, and having more fun on the court.
"I was fortunate enough to meet Jeff at the Webster Tennis Center where he was doing some organized beginner classes. I had been struggling with progressing as an intermediate player and asked Jeff for some individual instruction. I was able to work with Jeff individually for a few sessions and saw immediate improvement in my play in the transition zone. Jeff was patient, kind, and made several excellent suggestions, that have helped me to develop more consistency in my play. Jeff also helped me to re-grip my paddle and discuss ways to weight the paddle to gain better control and to diminish stress on my elbow. After a few initial sessions, I was able to set up group lessons for several of my playing partners and the feedback has been glowingly positive. Jeff is knowledgeable and approachable in his instruction and I would absolutely recommend him for anyone looking to improve their game.
An energetic certified PPR Pickleball coach & player — Beginners → Intermediate. Teach new and developing players reliable technique, court strategy, and confident shot-making in a fun, low-pressure environment. Focus: fundamentals (serve/return, dinking, third-shot drop), movement, partner play and smart tactics. All ages welcome. Group, private, and semi-private lessons. Coaching philosophy: Progress is fastest when lessons are small, measurable, and immediately useful in game situations. I teach with clear cues, video when helpful, and lots of short, focused reps that build muscle memory without boring you.
"3 lessons, More than expected, this is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
