Jean is passionate about pickleball and loves coaching beginning and intermediate players. She has been playing pickleball for 8 years and coaching for 3 years. Jean is not a life long athlete, rather started playing racquetball in her 40’s when she lived in New Hampshire. When she and her husband, Dante, retired in 2018 they moved to Lillian, AL. Since racquetball was not as prevalent Jean started playing tennis in Gulf Shores, AL. She was introduced to pickleball at a local church gym and played both tennis and pickleball for a few years. Then she switched full time to pickleball. She has never regretted that decision and loves everything about the sport! Certifications include: RPO Level 1, IPTPA Level 1 and Children/Youth, Accredited Coach through the Pickleball System, USA Pickleball Ambassador, DUPR Club Facilitator in Lillian, AL Other interests: Biking, traveling, mahjong. Favorite coaching: Novice and beginner players, clinics, intermediate players with specific shots. Loves doing events such as ladder leagues, Queen and King of the Court. Favorite aspects of pickleball: Community!
