With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist and three Division 1 championships, and reaching the Southern California Semi-finals of CIF in tennis. A teaching professional at Braemar Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy, a former Special Education instructor, registered behavior therapist, adaptive skills clinician, mobility trainer, and physical therapist aide, and I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and Biomechanics. "After five lessons with Alex, we’ve built a solid foundation on fundamentals like footwork, shot placement, backhands, and situational serve variations. The biggest improvements I’ve noticed are in my serving and dinking. I’ve been able to apply what I’ve learned directly in challenge court play—my serves feel more effective and help set up points better, and I’ve become less predictable overall. I’m also starting to think through points more instead of just reacting. Alex has a great eye for mechanics. In our last session on movement and positioning, he helped simplify a few habits that were making me overcomplicate things. His drills are practical and translate well into real match situations. I’m very happy with my progress so far and would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking to elevate their game.
