We’ll kick things off with a quick evaluation to see where you’re currently at—your shot mechanics, movement, court awareness, and overall strengths. From there, we’ll dive into refining fundamentals that may need a tune-up to strengthen your foundation. I’ll also get a feel for your goals so I can tailor our sessions to what you want to achieve—whether that’s winning more points, mastering advanced strategy, or prepping for tournaments.

Water, sunscreen, athletic clothes and court shoes

Make sure to wear tennis/running shoes, very important, an outfit you’ll feel comfortable playing in, and bring some water to stay hydrated!

I've always enjoyed working with kids and giving them lots of encouragement to help them reach their goals. In the past I have worked as a teacher's assistant in a special education class, worked as a camp counselor, coached youth soccer, and helped take care of my nieces and nephews. It's always great to see kids learn and develop new skills while having fun!

When I teach kids, my number one goal is to make the experience fun and playful while still introducing proper form and good habits early on. I use games, mini-challenges, and lots of movement to keep them engaged and smiling the whole time. I focus on simple goals, quick wins, and making sure every child leaves feeling successful and excited to come back. Positive energy, patience, and encouragement are at the heart of every lesson.
