I adapt all my lessons to the student regardless of age, but specifically for young kids, I gear my lessons more to making sure that they are getting what they want from it. If that means playing a song, perfect, if that means using the piano to calm themselves, that’s perfect too. It just has to be fun! I will always check with the student to make sure they are enjoying their time.
