"Mark came in to my life in a time in where I really needed it. I was already taking lessons with a teacher and stopped because the teacher didn’t really teach me anything that pertained to my interest. Mark was not able to reinvigorate my interest but help to me excel at guitar like I never thought before. I now am one of the most skilled musicians in my Jazz band and I truly have Mark to thank for that. Mark comes with a seriousness about the guitar that has helped him create a career for myself and many others.

Hey there! I am originally from the PNW in Oregon. I have accrued several instruments over the years since I joined the school band at age 10. I fell in love with the guitar at the age of 13 and spent my teen years learning my favorite songs on the instrument. By the time I was 17, I formed a rock band with friends where I took on the role of lead vocalist and rhythm guitar. I studied Audio Engineering at Lane Community College and applied the skills I learned to help produce/engineer his band's first record. He also recorded a solo LP where he sang, played all the instruments, and mixed the record himself. After years of musical experience, I entered the education field in 2021 while living in Portland, OR, and worked at Happy Valley Arts Academy. In pursuit of continuing a career in live music performance as well as education, I decided to take a leap and move to Nashville in July 2023. I have since played on Broadway, Zion Christian Ministries and local touring acts in the area. You can listen to some of my guitar playing through my band @ Silver Glass on all streaming platforms.

"I’m just an old guy who wanted to play some fun songs by the campfire. I knew Kevin had been playing for years and done some pretty cool stuff with it. So I hit him up and wasn’t disappointed. I play old classic rock and country stuff, and Kevin guided me to allow me to just look up the chords and actually understand what I’m looking at. Now I play every weekend at camp and I feel like a rockstar. Thanks Kevin!!

My guitar journey took a professional turn at the tender age of 15. A student of classical guitar under James Piorkowski at the University of New York at Fredonia and later with Jim Smith at the University of Southern California, I hold a degree in Applied Music. My strings have resonated alongside major label country stars on tour, and my playing and production have left an indelible mark on television shows like Nashville, Sons of Anarchy, HBO's True Blood, and The Young and the Restless. Join me on a musical odyssey where classical precision meets the soulful twang of country strings.
"When I took lessons from Sean, taught me more than just simply how to play my instrument - he taught me an approach to playing music that still sticks with me today. My lessons were more than rote learning sessions to mimic what song we were discussing - he broke down the “why” of the piece to show how to use various techniques in other situations.

I am a self-taught guitarist who understands that the path to mastery is not always smooth. Holding a guitar comfortably didn't come easy for me, but rather than succumb to frustration, I approached it with curiosity and a determined mindset. While witnessing guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix effortlessly play, I recognized the gap between us and decided to bridge it with dedicated hours of practice. For me, music is a personal journey, not an academic pursuit. Passion, discipline, and dedication are my guiding lights. I view playing as not a 'practice' but an immersive experience. Each mistake is a lesson, and every road, no matter how winding, leads to the same destination—unconditional guitar perfection. It's not about comparison but finding your unique connection to music. Join me on this dynamic journey, where trials, mistakes, and a resilient spirit lead to the ultimate destination: a continuously evolving guitar mastery.
