I was an all-state high school golfer working carts at La Cantera. I then went to college, where I played golf and graduated with honors in sports management. After college, I got hired as an assistant golf pro, giving lessons and playing on the mini-tour simultaneously. I later relocated to my hometown of San Antonio to work at Golf Galaxy. After four years, I worked my way up to management and became a master club fitter, training and fitting for golf clubs. My journey in golf has equipped me with a deep understanding of the game, and I’m passionate about helping others improve their skills and enjoy this wonderful sport.

I first took up golf because of my uncle, who was an avid golfer. He would occasionally take my father and I to the driving range. I really did not understand the game then. But, as I got older, I started seeing golf as more than a sport. First, I enjoyed being outdoors and I got to make new friends.
