My golf journey began at 23 when I shot a 122 in my first round, but I was immediately hooked. Having played three sports in high school and running track in college, I was no stranger to athletic challenges. Determined to be considered a good golfer, I aimed to break 85, and with the help of free lessons from a pro impressed by my driving distance, I achieved that goal within a year. After moving into a new home, my neighbor, a 6 handicap, became my playing partner, and within two years, I was consistently breaking 80. My passion for golf grew as I caddied for a friend on the Orlando Golf Tour and participated in the Charlotte City Amateur and the Charlotte Metro Amateur My lowest career round is 71. These experiences have been crucial to my golf maturation, and I firmly believe that golf is the world's hardest yet most rewarding game.

Golf has been a part of my life for more than 3 decades. As an avid junior golfer, I won a club championship, made all conference my sophomore - senior year in high school. I was a part of 2 regional championship teams as well as an 11th place and 7th place finish in high school state championships. From a young age it’s been my passion. Now that I’m in corporate America being able to use my talents to help win numerous charity benefits and raise money for many great causes has been more than fulfilling. I’ve seen the game evolve from wooden drivers and shot shaping course management to now teeing it high and letting it fly. One of the best benefits about golf is not only can you enjoy the game your entire life but you can find satisfaction in the game no matter your skill level. Golf has been a lifelong pursuit of mine, beginning in a country club environment where I started playing as soon as I could walk. I received structured professional instruction from ages 3–18 and competed extensively in junior tournament golf, including AGJA events and high-level regional competition. I was the #1 player in my high school and was on track to compete at the collegiate level before health-related circumstances shifted my path. That experience deepened my understanding of both the physical and mental demands of competitive golf. My background is rooted heavily in tournament preparation—learning how to structure practice, manage scoring expectations, and perform under pressure. After college, I transitioned into coaching and have spent years giving lessons to players of all levels, with a focus on simplifying mechanics, improving consistency, and building repeatable scoring systems. Whether you’re just starting, preparing for competition or just trying to lower your handicap, I specialize in turning technical work into on-course performance.

•About me (golf) My name is Noel Sims. I am a professional golfer located in Phoenix, Arizona. I am 28-years old and have been playing the game since I could walk. I have been competing in golf tournaments from ages 3-current and have played in some elite events as a junior golfer, amateur golfer and professional golfer. While finishing my junior career, I was ranked the #1 African-American in the nation and top 240 in the world on the JGS rankings. I played 1-year at South Mountain Community College where I was apart of a NJCAA National Championship team in 2016 and finished my collegiate career at Alabama State from years 2017-2021 (redshirt year at SMCC and a Covid-19 year at ASU). I was a consistent starting at both programs and have a lot experience of playing different styles of golf. I turned professional in 2021 and have made 2/2 cuts at the 2021 Outlaw Tour Wigwam Red Classic and the 2023 Arizona Open (haven’t played much professional due to finishing my Master’s Degree while also working after my collegiate career). • About me (education) I have an extensive passion for helping others reach their true potential. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My passion for others goes farther than just helping others in a room, but also outdoors! I find enjoyment in seeing others progress and passing my knowledge to others when it comes to golf and also recommendations with life.
