He won Silver and Bronze medals in the US Junior Olympics during 2003-2005. He was acknowledged in the "Who's Who Among American High School Students Sports Edition." In 2007, he graduated from the SDGA Golf Academy with a Business Degree in Golf Management. Shane was part of the "Top 5" to hold the lowest handicap and won two prestigious tournaments including PGA Matchplay and PGA Stroke Play Championships.
