While I have a strong understanding of the technical side of the golf swing, my teaching approach is not overly technical. I’m a feel-based player, and just like I play the game, I teach it—focusing on feel, awareness, and simple keys that translate naturally to the course. I believe great golf comes from understanding what to feel, not being overloaded with mechanics. A major part of my instruction focuses on the mental side of the game, which I believe is often overlooked. I’ve studied golf psychology extensively, including Bob Rotella’s golf psychology work, and I help students develop confidence, commitment, and trust under pressure. I’ve worked with golfers of all skill levels, helping students improve ball-striking, consistency, confidence, and course management. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, emphasizing changes that are easy to understand, repeat, and hold up on the course. There are only a few effective ways to swing a club, I teach a swing that is designed around a neutral spine. I want my clients to have the same, heathy swing - no back pain, hip pain, knee pain etc - from when they are 7 years old to 90yrs old without having to change a thing. I teach men and women of all ages - My youngest client is 7 and my oldest is 87. My first client was struggling to break 100, now he shoots in the 70s.
