With over 15 years of teaching experience and a lead instructor role at Big Canyon Country Club, Travis combines expertise with cutting-edge tools like high-speed video, Swing Catalyst, K-Motion technology, and launch monitors to analyze and enhance each athlete’s performance. His approach centers on biomechanics and the body-swing connection, focusing on rhythm, feel, and flow to help players fully enjoy the game. Outside of golf, Travis and his wife Erin, along with their three children, Courtlynn, Jordy, and Bodie, enjoy an active lifestyle filled with sports, the beach, mountains, and travel adventures from their home in Aliso Viejo. Range balls are included in the price of the lesson.

The mechanics, the cause and effect, the things that nobody explained clearly until I dug deep enough to figure them out myself. That took years. A lot of them. That’s exactly why I started coaching. I didn’t want my students to spend years piecing it together on their own. Everything I learned the hard way — I put it straight into the lesson. Over 2,000 lessons in, my approach is built on one thing: giving you a clear, honest picture of your game. I am a PGA Associate. I played professionally for 7 years and have been teaching for 16 years. My lowest score is a 62. I am a performance coach meaning I help students reach their goals not just through swing changes but understanding how to improve all aspects of the game to shoot lower scores using SPORTSBOX AI and a launch monitor (GC Quad Max).

I was raised by the 8th hole at Montebello golf course. My dad took me as a kid and taught me the rudiments of the sport. I didn't pick it up seriously until covid 19!
