As a Mexican American born and raised in Alhambra, California, I have deep roots in this vibrant community. I attended Alhambra High, ELA College, and Cal State LA, where my initial sporting journey began with baseball. However, it was Tiger Woods who inspired my shift to golf, a decision that has taken me around the world. I've played on 342 different courses globally and relish the opportunity to teach this fantastic game to players of all levels. Fluent in both English and Spanish, I'm always ready to offer lessons, play a round, or practice at the range. With a current handicap of 5.9 with the SCGA, I'm dedicated to both improving my game and helping others do the same.

I was certified in 2017, through the USGTF. I have 20 years of experience in golf learning, training and playing. I coached a USGLL golf team to a second-place finish; I have volunteered for the First Tee program in Orange County; I was actively involved in the Los Alamitos High School Girls Golf Booster Club from 2012-2016; I managed several golf fundraisers for the Los Alamitos High School Girls Golf team and before being certified I taught several individuals, including my wife, to play this great game.
