Hi, I'm Eric, and I grew up playing golf in the SF Bay Area over 40 years ago. I have a passion and true love for the game ever since I set foot on my first golf course at age 9. I have played in local tournaments and played golf competitively for several years. I have lots of patience, I'm laid back, and I really enjoy teaching. I work with all ages and skill levels. As an avid golfer and golf instructor, I have had the privilege of teaching and playing the game for over 10 years. I have competed in tournaments throughout the United States and have had the honor of helping my students reach their goals and better their game. My teaching style focuses on fundamentals, such as grip, stance, and swing, to help students understand the mechanics of the game. Kevin is the lead instructor at Foreplay Simulators which offers Greenjoy Technology. His availabiity at Foreplay Simulators is Sun-Fri mornings and Tues & Wed evenings. Kevin is a Class A PGA Golf Professional with 23 years of experience coaching golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to tour professionals. Originally from Connecticut, Kevin has built a distinguished career in both competitive play and instruction. His passion for the game began in high school, where he won multiple tournaments. He went on to compete at the collegiate level, starting at Mitchell College, where he won the NJCAA Division 3 National Championship. He then transferred to UConn, serving as team captain in his senior year. After college, Kevin turned professional and competed on the Cleveland Golf Pro Tour in New England, further deepening his understanding of high-level competitive golf. Scratch player. Played varsity high school while ranking as a top 100 junior golfer in California. As an adult, won some city championships as well. Most importantly, golf has been a great way to have fun and meet people and keep friends on the course. Golf is hard, but with a simple understanding of the swing and the golf club, you can learn to play decent golf.

Michael grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and started playing golf from a young age. He went to university in Georgia and after a decent college career turned pro and played the mini tours in Florida, then the Australian tour and South African Sunshine tour. After a couple of years as a playing professional, he went through the PGA training in the UK and became a teaching pro at Blackmoor GC in Southern England. Michael then took a job with well renown European Tour teacher, Jamie Gough at this golf school in Cape Town. Michael worked there for 3 years before moving to Europe and spending 8 years teaching in Germany and Switzerland before moving to America. Michael also spent time caddying/managing on the European Tour in the 2005, he has done 3 TPI classes through the Titleist Performance Institute as well as many other classes, courses to grow his knowledge. Michael enjoys teaching players of all skill levels from beginners to tour players. Michael still plays a lot of golf and you can find him tinkering with his swing or playing a variety of courses in his free time. He also loves to cook and explore the beauty of Northern California.

Swing changes are hard so let’s work with what you have unless you are committed to making wholesale swing changes. Fundamentals are key: grip, alignment, posture and swing plane. No crazy gimmicky exaggerated moves: club on plane w a square face, and aligned to target. Let’s get you proficient and confident so you can get out play and enjoy the game.

"Worked on grip and stance with each club and got a good understanding WHY the stance was important (and different) for each club. I did not want 20 or 30 new things to try. I could not remember that many. I can easily focus on two tips for each club and make improvements based on those tips.
