I’m a professional golfer currently competing at a high level, with a +5 handicap and a collegiate background from UCSB. I’ve spent the past five years teaching golfers of all skill levels, helping them build confidence, consistency, and a deeper understanding of the game. After working at my local golf course growing up, I went through the PGA Golf Management program at New Mexico State University. From there I started working as teaching professional at Golf Made simple teaching 3 day classes to 4 golfers at a time. I’m Then promoted to Lead instructor trainer teaching the new instructors how to properly teach and coach classes. Now I teach full time at several different venues.

I’m a proud graduate of the Campbell University PGA Golf Management (PGM) program, class of 2012, and have been passionate about teaching golf since my high school days, when I started helping my coach run junior camps. I was fortunate to serve as captain of my varsity golf team all four years and earned All-State and All-Section honors as a junior and senior. Golf has always been a big part of my life, but nothing means more to me than family. I’m a down to earth family man, happily married to my amazing wife of 10 years. We’re raising two wonderful kids, a fun-loving 4-year-old son and a sweet 9-month-old daughter along with our energetic chocolate lab.

A passion and love for the game, I have been playing golf for over 50 years and have been a golf professional for over 35 years teaching all levels of players men, women, seniors and youths alike.. " Ina was terrific for me. Before Ina my handicap was 30 plus or minus 5. After a couple of lessons, and a few weeks of playing and adhering to Ina’s easily applied weight distribution and maintaining spine position, I am happy to say golf is much more enjoyable. My handicap dropped to 20 plus or minus 5 now. I shot an 86 last week on a par 72 course which is my career best. Before Ina when topping or chunking shots I had no idea what I did wrong. Now when I occasionally chunk a shot I know why it occurred. It is easily corrected by reverting back to what Ina taught in those two lessons. Now my goal is to shoot for a 10-15 handicap. I can’t believe how much she has made this game so much more enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong I still get frustrated at times - but I am much more consistent and playing better than ever before. Next up will be a couple of lessons on chipping where my game is the most inconsistent at present. No matter what your level is I strongly recommend Ina for anybody desiring improvement and finishing a round with much more satisfaction.

I have been playing golf all my life, beginning with the First Tee program, which taught me that golf is more than a sport—it's a way to carry yourself, conduct business, and much more. The program instilled values such as courtesy, respect, integrity, sportsmanship, honesty, and confidence, which I live by and which have helped me throughout my golfing journey. I have competed at many levels, including SCPGA, AJGA, mini tours like the Pepsi Tour, and college golf, experiencing the game in various settings. Golf has taken me all over, and I love helping others discover and enjoy the sport.

Over 8 years of coaching from beginners to tournament players. My whole coaching philosophy is geared towards the physics side of golf and bringing out the best of what the body can do naturally because everyone’s swing is different! I don’t overload, I focus on key factors every lesson and make it simple for the body to adjust and adapt and build a solid golf swing and knowledge in your game.

I graduated from Golf Academy of America in 2017. Certifications in teaching and mechanics, custom club fitting, club repair and playing certification. Expert in GC Quad analytics. Open to all levels with focus on short game development and course management.
