I’m Wayne Mendezona, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Corban University and founder of Quick Handle Basketball. I’ve spent over 30+ years developing athletes and have trained more than 50,000 players—from youth to college and professional levels. I specialize in ball handling, scoring, and game performance—helping athletes build confidence, decision-making, and real in-game results. My training is not just drills—it’s about developing complete players who can perform under pressure, think the game, and separate themselves from the competition. I don’t train average. My name is Joey Potts, and I’ve played professional basketball for three years. Two years overseas in Romania and Norway, and one with the Salem Capitals in Oregon. I’m a 6’9” power forward who competed at the junior college, Division I (Oregon State), and NAIA (Oregon Tech) levels. My experience across multiple levels gives me a unique perspective on the game. I’ve coached and trained players ranging from 5 years old to high school and college athletes.

I played 5 years of college basketball, and I've been coaching youth sports for the past couple years. I also have experience training NBA and NCAA players. I'm willing to work with any age, any skill level. The coaches I had throughout my playing career changed my life, and my goal is to pass on my experiences to the next generation.

With 8 years of basketball instruction, I foster skill development in a positive environment. I'm committed to helping players of all levels achieve their full potential on and off the court, while still keeping it fun!
