As a dedicated baseball coach for 12 years, I'm passionate about fostering a love for the game while nurturing players' skills and sportsmanship. I'm committed to creating a fun, positive learning environment where athletes of all levels can thrive.
"“Coach Maddie has been working with Brian on speed and agility and we can tell the difference. Awesome young man and all around good person.”
I played four years of Division I college baseball as a left-handed pitcher, spending two years at the University of Pittsburgh and two years at Central Michigan University, where I earned my degree. Baseball has been part of my life since day one—my dad played professionally in Major League Baseball and taught me the game from a young age. The game has given me lifelong friendships, valuable life lessons, and the opportunity to earn a college scholarship. Coaching allows me to give back by teaching, mentoring, and helping players continue to grow both on and off the field.

For over 38 years, I've cultivated baseball skills and a love for the game. My experience helps players excel, blending technical expertise with an engaging approach. I'm dedicated to unlocking potential on and off the field.
With 15 years devoted to teaching baseball, I foster growth through tailored instruction, developing skills and sportsmanship. My approach combines technical expertise with an encouraging atmosphere. I strive to unlock each player's full potential, building confidence and passion for the game.

Fueled by a lifelong passion for baseball, I offer 12 years of dedicated coaching experience. My focus is nurturing fundamental skills and fostering a love for the game in every player. I strive to unlock potential, one pitch, one swing at a time.
Former D1 Catcher | ACE-Certified Coach | Helping Serious Athletes Unlock Their Full Potential I’m a former Division 1 catcher from Ball State University, where I started behind the plate and earned my ACE coaching certificate during grad school. Before that, I spent two years at Illinois Central College, where I started games at every position except shortstop—experience that gives me a unique perspective on the full scope of the game. I’ve been around baseball my whole life, and now I’m passionate about passing on the insights I wish I had earlier in my career. I specialize in working with competitive athletes who are serious about taking their game to the next level. My coaching focuses on advanced hitting development, and I believe in building around a player’s natural strengths—not forcing them into a one-size-fits-all mold. Everyone moves differently, and the key is finding a swing that works for you, not trying to copy someone else’s. One of my proudest moments as a coach came when I helped a struggling D1 teammate—someone with pro-level tools—unlock his potential by diagnosing a timing issue that had been holding him back. That season, he turned things around and is now a top-25 prospect in the Houston Astros organization, thriving in Double-A. Whether you're just starting your journey or looking for a competitive edge at the collegiate or travel ball level, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build the tools, confidence, and approach to succeed. I offer flexible hours and ongoing support—even outside of sessions—so you're never on your own when you’re trying to grow. I love this game, and I love to see players learn and improve. If you’re ready to train with purpose, improve your swing, and take the next step in your career, let’s get to work!

Played Division 1 Baseball at Florida State and Troy University. Pitched for 5 years under some of the smartest minds baseball can offer. My approach to making you the best baseball player you can be involves hands on training, while also incorporating things that make you the most comfortable. Not every player is ever the same. I will not teach a cookie cutter mindset. All training programs will be tailored to you specifically.

"Joe did a great job teaching me how important it is to rotate my lower half when pitching and gave clear instruction on each drill
Unlocking potential on the diamond is my specialty. For two decades, I've honed my expertise in baseball instruction. I am dedicated to cultivating skills and fostering a love for the game.

With over a decade of baseball instruction, I blend proven techniques with tailored strategies for each player's success. I am dedicated to fostering skill development, boosting confidence, and cultivating a lifelong passion for the game. My goal is to make baseball a positive and empowering experience for every student. While the game itself is fantastic (americas pastime) I grew up learning not only the game mechanics. But the attitude behind the game. Baseball is 75% mental. And if your mind is right the rest of the game flows. With baseball having so much failure it is needed to learn from the failures so enhance the success percentage. I can teach this through my 13 years of playing, two state championships, and multiple awards based off character.
"I used to be scared of the ball at third base, Brant played 3rd base and helped me gain confidence to stay down on the ball. Helped me in hitting too

I have coached various sports and various age groups. However, I am most adept at baseball. I began coaching very young kids (5-6 year old flag football and basketball). I then was an assistant tackle football coach for a 12U team. I finally settled in as a head baseball coach for Warren Park. My first season I coached a 9-10 y/o team in the minor division to a league championship. Due to this positive result, I was asked to coach the 11 y/o travel team in 2024. I played baseball for many years and have worked as a teacher / tutor and believe I have a lot to offer as a coach.
