Coach Conor Buckley brings high-level experience, sharp field instincts, and a deep passion for the game to every athlete he trains. A former standout shortstop, Conor played collegiate baseball at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon (2013–2014), where he earned recognition for his elite defensive play and infield IQ before a career-ending shoulder injury shifted his path to coaching. Prior to college, Conor competed for the Texas Rangers Scout Team. During his collegiate career, he was recruited by both the Milwaukee Brewers and the Pittsburgh Pirates—testament to his advanced skills and baseball acumen. He’s had the unique opportunity to play with and against many current Major League Baseball players, giving him a rare perspective on what it takes to succeed at the next level. After stepping off the field, Conor spent four years coaching and mentoring youth players, specializing in shortstop, middle infield, and third base. His focus is on helping athletes sharpen their mechanics, improve their game awareness, and prepare for the jump to high school varsity baseball and beyond.
