Language is a bridge I delight in building—especially in Mandarin. I bring many years of teaching Mandarin, blending practical conversation, cultural insight, and patient, structured methods to help learners progress confidently while enjoying the learning journey.

I've coached high school football and I really enjoy helping our young people in the sport that I love.

Fueling potential and sculpting success on the field for the past seven years, I am dedicated to cultivating both athletic skill and strategic understanding in aspiring football players. With proven experience, I foster a supportive environment where dedication and discipline meet passion. I have coaching experience with several varsity position groups, both offense and defense. I also have several years experience as a varsity football special teams coordinator, defensive coordinator, and strength and conditioning coach. I am most passionate about strength and speed development, running back and linebacker play, and development of skills (basic to advanced).
"Coach Walsh coached me for 3 years and we worked closely as he headed both the defense and our weightlifting program. Walsh is the type of instructor who will be your biggest supporter and hype man while also holding you accountable. He built a friendly connection with everyone on the team so it was very easy to ask questions. Whether it was showing correct form for lifting or how to do a certain block, Walsh was always ready to give an example. Coach Walsh is very dedicated to his work and passionate about making his players the best they can be.

Hi there, I’m Mimi! Tennis has been a part of my life for over two decades, ever since picking up a racquet at age 3. As a 4.0 USTA player, I have technical precision and add tactical insight to every lesson. I love working with players of all ages and skill levels, but specialize teaching young children ages 3 to 8. Using creative, engaging methods tailored to early learners, my coaching style is patient, engaging, and rooted in a deep love for the sport. Outside of teaching I play on local tennis teams, and play indoor soccer in the winter. Excited to meet and see you on the tennis court! 🎾

I’ve been in the water for over 22 years, and swimming has shaped every part of who I am. As a former NCAA Division I swimmer in the Big Ten Conference at The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I specialized in butterfly and distance freestyle and was a national qualifier in both events. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for hard work, discipline, and the power of great coaching. Now, as a coach, I’m passionate about helping swimmers develop strong technique, build confidence, and find joy in the process. Whether you're working toward your first race or chasing national cuts, I bring the same energy, knowledge, and support to every athlete I work with. My goal is to create a positive and challenging environment where swimmers can grow and reach their full potential—both in and out of the pool.

I’m originally from Colombia and have played soccer since I was six years old, first coached by my father, a former professional player. I competed in local tournaments, the Bogotá league, and eventually played in the second division for a professional team from my city. I’ve also played in the U.S. and France, gaining experience across futsal, turf, and full-field formats. As an NFHS-certified coach, I currently lead futsal training in Beaverton for players ages 5 to 18. My coaching style focuses on proper technique, game intelligence, discipline, and adapting to various styles of play. Each session includes technical drills, tactical exercises, and small-sided games designed to challenge players and build complete, thoughtful athletes.

Ryan was raised in a musical household and began taking lessons from the time he was able to wrap his hands around a guitar neck. He is well versed in a variety of genres and styles including Rock, Jazz, Blues and Americana. He works with students of all ages and levels of experience and tailors lessons to the individual (no one size fits all approach). Beginning students start with simple melodies and basic chord forms. Advanced players develop theory, harmony, composition, improvisation.
"Have been taking lessons for a few months and have made great progress. Ryan quickly understood how I learn and adapted his teachings to meet me where I'm at in my guitar journey. Would highly recommend for any level of playing
