I am currently the head girl’s basketball coach at Hickory Middle School. I have also coached at Virginia State University, and Mary Baldwin University. I also have experience coaching various AAU, high school, and travel teams. I was afforded the opportunity to play Division 1 basketball as well.

Hello, my name is Zion Hicks. I’ve been playing music for a little over a decade now. My first love was piano and I want to teach and grow that love for music to you all. I mainly play by ear but my degree (in music production and recording technology with a minor in jazz piano) helped teach me the music theory. This broadened my worldview and showed me the levels of music, frequencies, and the process of how creation is. So now I have the skills/knowledge to teach what I learned for years.
