"What can I say that hasn't already been said - not much, but I can confirm ALL. I started w Coach/Instructor Karl about 8 months back and have seen steady progress through his tutaledge. I've taken 1:1 class initially just to see what 🥒 was all about. Karl broke it down to baby steps and has helped me progress. He's taken a tennis player and somewhat converted him using his knowledge/skills/patience and encouragement. He takes the time to work w students to see that they have an understanding of the reachable goals he has for you. He always challenging and encouraging. I look forward to more classes.

A DC area native, I was initially introduced to music, though somewhat reluctantly, through enrollment in the church choir at the age of four; however, I quickly grew to love it. I first experienced the guitar while living in Hong Kong when my third-grade teacher would play for them everyday at the end of school. I began taking lessons while living in Hong Kong and continued when I moved back to Washington DC. I have been playing the guitar for over 25 years and teaching for over 15. While my foundation is deeply rooted in the classical tradition, I enjoy teaching a variety of styles. My passion is to empower others to find their voice through the guitar, no matter their level of experience.
