A DC area native, I was initially introduced to music, though somewhat reluctantly, through enrollment in the church choir at the age of four; however, I quickly grew to love it. I first experienced the guitar while living in Hong Kong when my third-grade teacher would play for them everyday at the end of school. I began taking lessons while living in Hong Kong and continued when I moved back to Washington DC. I have been playing the guitar for over 25 years and teaching for over 15.
