Hi, my name is iLona. I consider myself half Ukrainian and half American, as I literally lived half of the lives in both countries, not to mention all the travels in between. Back in 2009, at 17 years old I came on one way ticket to USA on full right scholarship. I played division 1 schools, first 2 years at McNeese State, and last 2 years at University of North Texas where we won Sun Belt Conference Championship 2 years back to back.

Born in Cincinnati Ohio. Fell in love with the amazing game of tennis and quickly began improving and moved to Florida to train under Rick Macci. (the Williams sisters coach) at the age of 14 I started to work with Tarik Benhabiles who was Andy Roddicks coach from 15 to the age he won US Open at age 18. I reached a career high ranking of 196 in the world ITF juniors. I also was top 20 in the United States in 16s and 18s. Have taught all over the USA. I look forward to helping with your game!

A five year coach at Austin College, I believe that it is his calling to work with young athletes and help to guide them towards whatever goal or dream they have in life after softball. A standout baseball player himself, Johnson committed to Cal State Fullerton and eventually was offered a contract by the Kansas City Royals.

For over three decades, I've immersed myself in the worlds of Badminton and Ping Pong, blending these passions into the dynamic sport of Pickleball. My dedication and skill recently earned me a thrilling first-place victory at the City of Irving Rec Center doubles tournament. As both a player and coach, I thrive in indoor settings, preferring the controlled environment over outdoor courts, where I occasionally step onto the court to test my abilities.

I am a highly enthusiastic pickleball player with 2 years of experience in open/private play ranging from 4.0-4.5 level. Very engaging in technical instruction, ranging from foundational "Intro to Pickleball" clinics to intermediate tactical workshops for up to 4.0+ players. I just love pickleball and all the things that come with it. I have organized lots of drills and open plays within my pickleball group too.

I am a performer with 20 years of experience in the industry. I have roots in improv, clown, theatre, film, and stand up comedy. I teach and perform improv at Stomping Ground Comedy and bring a background in curriculum development and social-emotional learning to my coaching work. I am a History educator with over 28 years of teaching experience at both the secondary and college levels. I hold a Ph.D in History of the Americas and currently teach U.S. History at Dallas College and other higher education institutions.
