With 15 years of softball instruction, I foster growth in athletes of all levels. I played collegiate softball at the University of South Carolina Beaufort where I competed in a highly competitive Division 2 conference. Throughout my two years at USCB I pitched over 100 innings with 74 strikeouts. Prior to my time at USCB, I started my collegiate career at Mclennan Community College where we were able to compete at the NJCAA College World Series, earning national runner up. I played at Tyler Junior college my sophomore year where we competed in a highly competitive conference where I pitched in over 60 innings with 40 strikeouts. I was gratefully given the opportunity to play for a small national team in Puerto Rico where I pitched the organizations first win. Growing up I played for the Hotshots Organization where I was able to be coached under some of the best and able to compete at a high level. Playing at the collegiate level taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of balancing academics with athletics. Off the field, I was voted by my conference to be the Student Athlete Advisory Committee President. I was awarded Presidential honor roll, Deans list, Chancellors list, and graduated Communication honor roll. Now that my playing career has come to a close, I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with others. I want to give back to the game by helping younger athletes build their skills, develop confidence, and understand the value of hard work and teamwork. Whether it’s pitching mechanics, game strategy, or simply encouraging players to believe in themselves, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of softball players and helping them reach their full potential.

I have worked as a swim instructor with kids aged 3 to 7 years old who were new to swimming, and helped them with skills ranging from putting their faces underwater for the first time to performing more advanced strokes like breaststroke and butterfly. I have also coached kids aged 7 to 16 in competitive swimming, both at daily practice and at swim meets. I help kids become stronger swimmers by focusing on technique to build speed and stamina on a solid foundation of positivity and motivation.

"Coach Reed has had a tremendous impact on my life both on and off the baseball field. His dedication to developing players goes far beyond the game itself. Through his guidance, accountability, and constant support, he helped me earn the opportunity to play college baseball at Wayland Baptist University. As a player, Coach Reed pushed me to be the best version of myself every day. His knowledge of the game, attention to detail, and ability to develop talent helped me become a First Team All-District selection in both 2023 and 2024 while helping lead my team to the playoffs. Whether it was hitting, fielding, mental preparation, or understanding the game at a deeper level, Coach Reed always had the answers and a plan to help me improve. What separates Coach Reed from many coaches is the impact he makes away from the field. He challenged me academically, held me accountable in the classroom, and taught me the importance of discipline, responsibility, and character. During difficult times and moments of adversity, he was always someone I could turn to for advice, encouragement, and honest feedback. He genuinely cared about my success as a student, athlete, and young man. Coach Reed wasn't just a baseball coach—he was a mentor, role model, and support system. The lessons he taught me continue to influence how I approach challenges, relationships, and life. Any player who has the opportunity to work with Coach Reed will not only become a better baseball player but also a better person. I am incredibly grateful for everything he has done for me and highly recommend him to any athlete looking to take their game and personal development to the next level.
