Hello! My name is Sonja, and I am a dedicated educator with years of experience helping students build strong reading, writing and language skills. As a certified reading teacher, I specialize in supporting English Language Learners, struggling readers, and students who need extra support to reach their full potential. I believe every learner can succeed when given the right tools and individualized instruction. My lessons are student-centered and designed to meet each student's unique needs.

My goal is to challenge the youth through the sport that has immensely impacted my life. I aspire to inspire and enlighten youth about the true essence of playing soccer. With a background in "total football," I believe every player is equally essential. I prioritize communication, movement, pace, and awareness in my players. My coaching style begins with open dialogue and complete respect for the game. I emphasize having fun, academic success, and integrity (sportsmanship) as fundamental principles. With over 10 years of playing experience, I bring a deep understanding of the game that goes beyond just running drills. I teach players how to think on the field, how to read situations, and how to compete with the kind of effort that WILL get you noticed.

I bring 20 years of experience to the court, playing D1 indoor and beach volleyball as well as professional beach volleyball. Ive also coached D1 volleyball for the last 7 years now.
