With over 14 years of softball playing and 2 years of coaching experience, I’m dedicated to fostering player development through tailored instruction. I was a 3 time second team all KCAC catcher, but I have played third as well in college. My passion lies in helping athletes reach their full potential, while creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment on and off the field. I have played in both high school and college level with having teammates from all over.

For 25 years, I’ve been playing all sports, but excels and prioritized hockey and baseball. After my college hockey career, I decided to take fitness and weightlifting seriously. For over 20 years, I've cultivated a deep passion for sharing the art of piano. My approach blends basic understanding of musical chords and ability to read music with a focus on listening to music in new, effective ways. I enjoy helping students hear patterns in songs and chords which will speed up their learning process. I also fully understand each student learns in different ways, and each student is motivated to learn a new skill in different ways, and am able to adapt to each individual's unique set of skills. I've worked with several piano teachers over my lifetime and know which styles helped motivate me personally. My job is to determine how best to keep a student engaged and having fun with the process. I enjoy the Boogie Woogie Swing Piano genre and have found many young people can't wait to learn it once they hear it played. I believe anyone can learn to play piano and that once they understand the basics, they will have a lifetime of enjoyment and special hobby that takes them away from life's daily stressors and helps to reduce screen time.
