As a former college player and current club coach I am driven by a lifelong passion for volleyball. I combine technical expertise with a patient, encouraging coaching style to develop confident, resilient players. I bring years of experience, tailored drills, and strategic insight to help athletes improve skills and decision-making and inspire them to be better on and off the court.

I have been a teacher for over 2 decades. My teaching has ranged from Pre-K students all the way to adult learners. I believe that everyone has the capability to learn, and with the right teacher, they can not only learn but enjoy doing it.

I'm a former collegiate pitcher at Doane University. I’ve worked work with athletes of all ages, building individualized training plans through film review and on-field evaluation to develop both mechanics and the mental side of the game.

With 20+ years of college tennis experience, a 4.79 DUPR, and P4/DUPR coach certifications, I build confident players. I work with teens and adults from beginner to advanced. My philosophy: "You play like you train." Every 60-minute session includes a warm-up, targeted skill drills, and live-play application so your new skills stick under match pressure. Whether you're learning the basics or prepping for tournaments, let’s elevate your game!

Shaun started In-Phase Training in the summer of 2021, combining his long-time experience as an educator and high school coach with a desire to share his knowledge with a wider audience. With a deep-rooted connection to sports—having played college football and grown up with a father who was a collegiate coach—Shaun has been immersed in athletics his entire life. He knows what it takes to compete at the next level and is passionate about helping athletes succeed, both on the field and in life. With 12 years of high school coaching experience, a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology, and certification as a Personal Trainer, Shaun is qualified and deeply committed to his athletes. His motto, "When You Win, We Win," reflects his dedication to the success and growth of every athlete he trains.

For over three decades, I've immersed myself in the worlds of Badminton and Ping Pong, blending these passions into the dynamic sport of Pickleball. My dedication and skill recently earned me a thrilling first-place victory at the City of Irving Rec Center doubles tournament. As both a player and coach, I thrive in indoor settings, preferring the controlled environment over outdoor courts, where I occasionally step onto the court to test my abilities.

Clay is a distinguished athlete and coach with a remarkable track record, having earned two gold and one silver medal with the US All Army team from 1993 to 1995. A celebrated ASA A West National Batting Champion in 2004, he is also a future Hall of Fame candidate. With an impressive history of 12 U National Championships and 14 U State Championships, Clay served as the Head Coach at Oklahoma Wildcat Prep Academy in Oklahoma City, where he continues to inspire and develop young talent in the sport.
