My classes are highly interactive and focused on teaching others to be confident speaking Spanish. As a player, I played all over. I started at John Brown University, where I became an All-American by my sophomore year and made the school's hall of fame. I transferred to East Central University, an All-Conference point guard who led the conference in assists and ranked top 10 nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio. I then played pro in France and Luxembourg, earning First Team All-League and team MVP. I later coached at Lorena High in Waco, reaching the regional finals (top 16) both years.
