Now I’m a freshman at UT Austin studying mechanical engineering and playing on the competitive travel team. With over 14 years of softball playing and 2 years of coaching experience, I’m dedicated to fostering player development through tailored instruction. I was a 3 time second team all KCAC catcher, but I have played third as well in college. My passion lies in helping athletes reach their full potential, while creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment on and off the field. I have played in both high school and college level with having teammates from all over.

Hi, my name is Zach Weisz. I most recently served as the First Assistant Coach at Gardner-Webb University, working with hitters, outfielders, and leading the offense. Prior to that, I was the Director of Baseball Operations at Coastal Carolina, where I helped the team win the 2023 Sun Belt Championship, make it to the championship of our own Regional, and reach the championship of the Clemson Regional in 2024. I began my coaching career as a Graduate Assistant at Cal State Fullerton, where I also played and was part of two Big West Championships, three Regionals, two Super Regionals, and a trip to the 2017 College World Series. I hold a Master’s degree in History and a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies, both from Cal State Fullerton. I’ve been fortunate to coach and play at the highest levels of college baseball, and I’m passionate about helping players develop their game.
