I am a History educator with over 28 years of teaching experience at both the secondary and college levels. I hold a Ph.D in History of the Americas and currently teach U.S. History at Dallas College and other higher education institutions.

Hello! I have been practicing for around 5 years, achieving blue belt in only 8 months and then purple belt a year and 10 months after that. I have competed in many tournaments, winning gold in a majority of them and pushing myself to always keep improving for the next one. Whether you are interested in competing or just improving your game enough for your next promotion, I'll be able to help you achieve your own purple belt in no time.
