I have taught writing at the University of Iowa. I’m currently teaching first year writing at the University of Houston. Students-centered approach is the bedrock of my teaching philosophy. I have done this by motivating my students to try new things with genres, themes, and forms that speak to them by giving priority to their interests, backgrounds, and learning preferences.

Been a head and an assistant coach at 2 different division 1 universities where I developed and trained athletes on and off the court. 200HR yoga certification. I teach beginner and slow flow yoga. I work in self love and releasing. Inner healing and breath work while remaining present in the moment. Each class is customized to target the students needs.

Wayne Campbell is the creator of the Stretch Yoga Therapy Method and owner of Urban Fit Yoga in Houston, Texas. He is a three-time USA National Yoga Champion (2017, 2019, 2020) and a two-time International Yoga Champion (2020, 2022). Wayne specializes in one-on-one coaching to improve flexibility, mobility, alignment, posture, recovery, and overall movement quality. Wayne’s goal is helping clients move better, feel better, and live with less pain. He is also a Certified Bikram Hot Yoga Teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist.
