I've been a professional touring bassist and educator for 20 years. I'm a doubler both electric and upright. I have a B.M. in Music education from VCU in Richmond, VA. (Don't make a joke about your degree being a "BM") If you're still here, I'm also a guitarist and have taught strings and brass. I’m comfortable utilizing biomechanical data (Uplift AI), retestable performance metrics (Keiser, Plyomat, Force Plate, VBT), slow motion video analysis (Edgertronic), and all applicable baseball metrics (Trackman, Rapsodo, Hawkeye) to formulate specific plans with structured goals. Created full return-to-play programs for athletes recovering from UCL reconstruction. From day 1 of rehab, to first throw, to first bullpen, to getting drafted and signing a D1 letter of intent. Wrote code to compile all performance metrics with the goal of showing closest correlation to the outputs we want. Active communication with high school and college coaches, as well as professional scouts.
