With over 15 years of playing experience and more than 5 years of coaching, I am passionate about helping players of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential. Throughout my coaching career, I’ve worked with everyone from complete beginners picking up a racquet for the first time to highly competitive players, including 10+ UTR athletes and NCAA Division I competitors.

For three and a half decades, I've had the privilege of sharing my passion for basketball and witnessing countless players transform on and off the court. My coaching philosophy blends technical expertise with a supportive and engaging environment to help you reach your full potential. My coaching style is strategical and focused. I key in on deficiencies and strengths to heightened my teams succes rate. While limiting opponents strengths and exploiting their weaknesses.

I have over nine years of experience as a competitive swimmer with City of Plano Swimming, including four years of varsity swim with Plano Senior Swim & Dive. I’ve also volunteered as a swim instructor with the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, where I developed a passion for water safety and teaching children. I am Red Cross lifeguard certified (2023) and attentive with swimmers of all ages. I currently hold a role at a women’s clinic which has honed my abilities to work in a fast paced environment.

I am a highly enthusiastic pickleball player with 2 years of experience in open/private play ranging from 4.0-4.5 level. Very engaging in technical instruction, ranging from foundational "Intro to Pickleball" clinics to intermediate tactical workshops for up to 4.0+ players. I just love pickleball and all the things that come with it. I have organized lots of drills and open plays within my pickleball group too.

Clay is a distinguished athlete and coach with a remarkable track record, having earned two gold and one silver medal with the US All Army team from 1993 to 1995. A celebrated ASA A West National Batting Champion in 2004, he is also a future Hall of Fame candidate. With an impressive history of 12 U National Championships and 14 U State Championships, Clay served as the Head Coach at Oklahoma Wildcat Prep Academy in Oklahoma City, where he continues to inspire and develop young talent in the sport.
