"A few years back my son was struck by lightning and was left with devastating injuries (SCI, nerve + muscle damage). He was in various clinics across the US doing intensive physical therapies for years. About 6 months ago we began training with Justen Smith (“Coach Jut”) with amazing results. Coach Jut combines his incredibly deep knowledge of how the human body works with a very comprehensive, consistent, purposeful approach to training I think very few trainers out there could match. Clay is a distinguished athlete and coach with a remarkable track record, having earned two gold and one silver medal with the US All Army team from 1993 to 1995. A celebrated ASA A West National Batting Champion in 2004, he is also a future Hall of Fame candidate. With an impressive history of 12 U National Championships and 14 U State Championships, Clay served as the Head Coach at Oklahoma Wildcat Prep Academy in Oklahoma City, where he continues to inspire and develop young talent in the sport.

New to pickleball? We’ll build a strong foundation without making the game complicated. Already playing? We’ll identify the areas holding you back and build a lesson around what will make the biggest difference in your game. Lessons can cover serving, returning, dinking, volleys, resets, third-shot drops, transition-zone play, doubles positioning, strategy, and match play. Most importantly, lessons should be productive and fun. My goal is for you to leave every session knowing something you didn’t know before—and excited to get back on the court.
