I've been a professional touring bassist and educator for 20 years. I'm a doubler both electric and upright. I have a B.M. in Music education from VCU in Richmond, VA. (Don't make a joke about your degree being a "BM") If you're still here, I'm also a guitarist and have taught strings and brass. I've taught privately and classroom settings both in-person and remotely. I bring my experiences as a performing artist and educator to guide students of all ages and levels. I specialized in heavy music for a long time but I am fluent in all genres of music as well,including folk,jazz, classical,rock, blues,funk,punk rock,new wave,pop,ska,hardcore,swing,avant garde,progressive,technical, contemporary,ambient,hip hop and experimental. I enjoy teaching everything from scales,chords, rhythm,melody,phrasing, transition,picking,finger placement,fretboard memory,fast runs,chord groups,major,minor, pentatonic,mixolydian,aeolian,diminished,phrygian,locrian,Dorian,and many more. I also like to focus on figuring out composition by ear,for example learning your favorite artists songs and development of your own styles while drawing from your influence or whatever you are wanting to play. Whether you are a beginner or advanced I will work at your pace. I can give you the tools to becoming a better musician and playing to your full potential.

Trinity is 18 years old and has been playing softball since the age of 5. She spent much of her youth playing infield before discovering her passion for outfielding and catching. During high school, Trinity’s senior team made it to the playoffs, and she received a college offer to play. Unfortunately, after undergoing knee surgery, she is now focused on her recovery but remains dedicated to the sport she loves.
