I've been a professional touring bassist and educator for 20 years. I'm a doubler both electric and upright. I have a B.M. in Music education from VCU in Richmond, VA. (Don't make a joke about your degree being a "BM") If you're still here, I'm also a guitarist and have taught strings and brass. I've taught privately and classroom settings both in-person and remotely. I bring my experiences as a performing artist and educator to guide students of all ages and levels. My lessons are individualized and intended to guide you on your musical journey. Lessons can vary depending on your needs, wants and goals. As a native Spanish speaker, I love teaching my language to others. I started teaching since 2004 and it has been the most fun job I ever had. My classes are highly interactive and focused on teaching others to be confident speaking Spanish. Classes are structured in a way of learning basics to quickly learning to have conversations with others. Let me show you how easy and fun is to learn Spanish.

I have over nine years of experience as a competitive swimmer with City of Plano Swimming, including four years of varsity swim with Plano Senior Swim & Dive. I’ve also volunteered as a swim instructor with the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, where I developed a passion for water safety and teaching children. I am Red Cross lifeguard certified (2023) and attentive with swimmers of all ages. I currently hold a role at a women’s clinic which has honed my abilities to work in a fast paced environment.
