As a 4.5 rated Pickleball player with more than a year under my belt, I've built upon my history as a former 5.0 tennis player. Over 40 years of playing experience and over 20 years teaching experience! I have played tennis since I was 6 years old and I first learned how to play tennis from my parents at an early age. I then began taking lessons from tennis instructors who had many years of playing experience. They brought a wealth of knowledge to me as a junior, which in turn helped me learn and excel as a junior player. I was one of the top 10 junior players in Texas and also competed in all national tennis tournaments around the country. It was an incredible experience and I very much hope to be able to pass on some of what I’ve learned to some of my tennis students in the San Antonio area!

After college, I got hired as an assistant golf pro, giving lessons and playing on the mini-tour simultaneously. I later relocated to my hometown of San Antonio to work at Golf Galaxy.
